Directions to the Worcester County
Veterans Memorial at Ocean Pines, Maryland

From Ocean City, Maryland via Rt. 90:

 

Take Rt.90 (62nd Street Bridge) West to Rt. 589 (Racetrack Road). Turn left onto Rt. 589. Go to 1st Light (Cathell Road) and turn left. Go approximately 500 yards until you see the Ocean Pines Sports Core Pool, turn right into parking lot and follow stone drive to Memorial.

 

From Ocean City, Maryland via Route 50

 

Take Rt. 50 West from Ocean City to Rt. 589 (Racetrack Road). Turn right onto Rt. 589. Go to 2nd Light (Cathell Road) and turn right. Go approximately 500 yards until you see the Ocean Pines Sports Core Pool, turn right into parking lot and follow stone drive to Memorial.

 

From Baltimore and Points West:

 

Take Rt 50 East towards Ocean City, Maryland. Take Rt. 90 East. Exit on Rt 589 (sign will say Ocean Pines). Bear to the right. At first light (Cathell Road) turn left. Go approximately 500 yards until you see the Ocean Pines Sports Core Pool, turn right into parking lot and follow stone drive to Memorial.

 

From Dover, DE and Points South:

 

Take Rt 13/Rt 1 towards Ocean City, Maryland. In Ocean City at 61st Street,take Rt. 90 West. Exit on Rt 589 (sign will say Ocean Pines). Bear to the left. At first light (Cathell Road) turn left. Go approximately 500 yards until you see the Ocean Pines Sports Core Pool, turn right into parking lot and follow stone drive to Memorial.

Note: The Memorial is located on point of land at the South Gate Pond of Ocean Pines, directly across from McDonald’s restaurant, and is easily visible from the road. There is free parking at the site and it is handicap accessible.
